English for Business (EFB) is one of the many English for Specific Purposes (ESP) courses I deliver. It's designed for those interested in developing their communication skills needed to succeed in the world of business.
There are two types of EFB courses:
- Global
- Specialist
Global EFB content includes topics like e-commerce, risk, international marketing, crisis management, cultures, advertising, careers, planning, products, selling & buying, strategy, ethics, etc. Learners from elementary to advanced language skills can take this course - there are 5 levels.
Specialist EFB concentrates on reading skills and vocabulary development. Like with Global EFB, conversation is also an important part of the course. The material is designed for intermediate, upper-intermediate and advanced learners specializing in:
- Human resources
- Business Law
- Logistics Management
- Working Across Cultures
The materials used in the EFB courses are from the Market Leader₢ series. Lessons are taught face-to-face or online (Microsoft Teams).
